GTAL: Test Event on Saturday, October 24th, 2009

Date: 24 October 2009
Time: 17:30 UTC Qualifying, 18:15 UTC Race (Note: We will not have the qualifying on the preceding day for the test race.)
Course: Aston Grand Touring (AS6)
Duration: Qualifying for 30 minutes; Race for 2 hours
Notes: The race will start with a rolling start as per regular season procedure, and will also employ Safety Car Deployments. An "Artificial Caution" may be deployed at any time during the race to ensure practice in the procedure is gained. Round 0a is a Non-Championship Event. It will be considered an NDR-sanctioned event, and shall be treated as such.


Who can attend ?

Oh, why the 24th! I´ll be away in Italy with my school class that week! I think it´s just until Friday, but I´m not sure if I can race there after having 5 days off.

Not sure yet, I need to check my work schedule.

I'm in, working on set. Will send asap for your testing, any word from TR7?

I'll be out here on LFS between 2100 and 2300 utc Tuesday Oct 6th, just use find a friend atomant to find me.

Good to hear you´re making the sets right now.
I already had enough trouble making the setups for BL1R, and as you´re the one with more XRR knowledge, I think you´ll be able to do a better job than me.
I won´t be able to join you in your session because, well it´s too late on the day for me, and I have to go to bed soon for school tomorrow.

As always for those hours: I can do the qualify and a 1 hour stint for this race. The rest will need to be filled in by others.

This is a 2H race, however it will contain crew caused safety cars, red flags, ect... to test the procedures and the rules. So it probably won't be full, full 2H racing.
This is what I got so far: if Rookie or Kingcars want we can add them to the race also: it is a testrace. Good way to test our pitting - communication methods. So I'd really propose that you two also do a stint.
