New guy here

Hey everbody, just introducing myself real quick. My name is Anthony Rossomano. As some of you may already know, I'm looking to drive in GTAL. I got Live For Speed back in June of this year, so I'm still quite a n00b, but I do have lots of sim racing experience over the past 10 years which has made the transition easier. Only 3-4 weeks after having Live For Speed, I tried out for Starlite Racing; they were highly impressed at my pace, especially for a newcomer, so I got my first league start in GTAL's final round on August 8th (my 21st birthday, funny enough). I had some nerves for the first 3-4 laps, but eventually got settled in and ran some very consistent and competitive laptimes, staying right around 10th place. That's all the league experience I have up to this point since Starlite broke up soon after.
As for things outside of gaming, I really enjoy working on my 88 Thunderbird 5.0L V8. I'm currently in the process of building a whole new engine for it. The car started life as an automatic too, so we switched it to a 5 speed manual. Very fun car to drive, and I just can't get enough of that American V8 sound. If there's anything else you guys would like to know, just ask!
