Re: OLFSL 2010
We also have Rookie 41 racing with us, but not for race 1, however he did say he should be back in OZ for the April 25 race.
Wakey and Izzy are right in front of me in the qual charts, so it looks like we'll all be in the same pool.
G.C. is also racing OLFSL this season, we'll do our best and try to bring home some shiny stuff.

I would use the "Contact Us " menu item and send Sami an e-mail, he would be the only one privy to that info, OR you can just re join. let me look at the racer chart and see what info I can find you. don't suppose you remember your OLFSL Number?
AAnt
Edit: DRIVER NAME: Sccc|Colt PLATE : elefes OLFSL MEMBER # 434 That should be enough info for Sami to help you Colt.

Race one is in da bag.
Izzy got 9th
I got 10th
Wakey got 13th
All in all a good start to the season, the LX4 is a intense car, now we go to So Sprint in the MRT.

Re: OLFSL 2010
Looks like our MRT set is not bad, I did a 55:71@ SO Sprint for 15th on the hotlap charts , all the other cabbies are faster than me so maybe this time we get pool 2.
We can only hope, another thing is, there are no sets to be found at the popular set sites.
Lake if you have one mail it to me and i'll be sure to get it to the members.
AAnt.
p.s. Thanks for da support Sprinter, means alot to us newbees<~~~~oh i made a funny...new bees

Re: OLFSL 2010
I'm setting up my gear for this event ... i'll be there !
Received a setup from ANT by email, time to start driving ... it's been soooooo long since i did some LFS
-edit-
Just did 1 lap online with the mouse (yeah couldn't wait) to have a time in case i don't get to do one before the race.
59:59 .. lol, needs lots of improvement ... but first i gotta get my wheel working.

Re: OLFSL 2010
Just finished our pool ... was very disappointing for me, but Ant did well and had great fun it seems
Race review from my point of view:
- Pre-race:
was doing fine, was very close to my PB and made hardly any mistakes.
- Race 1:
Laglap was already bad .. as the car next to me crashed and took out a couple ...
Real start ... got contact in T1, went sideways, nearly flipped over and landed on another car. I was able to resume the race.
Not much later i tried to overtake someone and that didn't go well, we made contact, i hit the wall, another car and ended in the wrong way ... once again i resumed the race.
The car was a bit damaged and i couldn't get into it anymore.
While overtaking someone spun and i panicked and crashed in the wall again ... more damage.
Ended the race 8th ... not good.
- Race 2:
I had enough of T1 crashing so i pulled over during the start and resumed last, seemed to work as nobody crashed in T1.
The race didn't last long as when 2 cars in front of me touched and spun i got launched into the wall, damaging my car and putting me in last place.
I tried to reverse the car but i ended stuck on the wall and had to give up.
Bad bad bad result, way too many mistakes, very disappointing race.
Ah well, next combo has more grass to recover

Re: OLFSL 2010
Got a 2nd in first race and a 3rd in race 2, car handle like a dream but i just couldn't catch T.Kay even though I was lapping him faster. One guy was in-between us and he kept braking to soon and I would lose turbo pressure for the corner exit, once I got him out of the way i did the fastest lap of race 1.
We brought home so shiny stuff and i Believe we'll be in top 10 team ranking after this event.
Now we need a wicked FX0 set for AS2 Club.
Izzy was doing great and chasing Ember for third for a lot of his race, (he got way up into pool 3 so his points will be the most of da day.
All in All it was a fun day, I don't know how the heck rookie drove off that car but it's a classic move, replays are all on OLFSL site..pool 3, pool 4 and pool 6.
Wakey, how did you do..

Re: OLFSL 2010
Ant: Fasterkid bumped into me, then the next car hit him and i went sideways, it was all bad from there
In Race 2 i would have died in a real race ... the impact was crazy (Baxeg and some other car made contact in what seemed to be a misunderstanding) .... but my car got hammered and i failed at turning it around (suspension was OK when i watched the replay, fark i thought i totaled it ).
More luck next time ... once again grats Ant, well done !

It looks like most of you had good races , the most important is to enjoy the race ( if possible...)
