Metallica Concert at Antwerpen (Anvers) Belgium
Yesterday i went to Metallica concert.
Second time i see them and one more time, those guys are excellent.
I saw many concerts in my life but the "Four Horsemen" are really on the top.
There is something different in this group than others.
They respect their fans and public.
They are like friends....weird feeling i never had with other groups.
They made a great show and gave us all the best they can.
I was very close from the stage, 4 or 5 meters and i really appreciate.
Here some pics from yesterday.
JAMES HETFIELD
ROBERT TRUJILO
LARS ULRICH
JAMES, KIRK HAMMET, ROBERTOOOO !!!

One more excellent thing is that they record all their shows, then few days later, you can download the CD of the concert you saw....GREAT !!!

I went to their concert too. Not really my genre of music, nor my favourite band, but it was indeed great!
I decided to join some of my friends to the concert after seeing an interview with their front man on the tv, in which he stated that rock&roll is great, but surely does not need the women and drugs. They really show respect for their fans and play for the music as art genre on itself and the fans. Not for the cash to buy their drugs with, or to do silly things with (like M. Jackson).
Today the day they are indeed an unique band. They are 'mainstream' and populair, yet feel and act like an underground artistical group.

Re: Metallica Concert at Antwerpen (Anvers) Belgium
Gianni, we were lucky to see them.
James Hetfield became sick few days after....
Here is a news :
"Metallica frontman James Hetfield has explained what made him ill and forced the band to cancel a show at the weekend - he ate a bad oyster.
The group were scheduled to perform at the Stockholm Globe Arena in Sweden on Sunday night (March , but the show was axed at the last minute.
Now in a message posted on the Metallica website, Hetfield reveals it was a meal that led to his sickness.
"James here, alive, at about 80% but getting better." He writes. "I want to say sorry for missing the second Stockholm gig on Sunday due to illness."
"The cause/diagnosis at the hospital was narrowed down to either a 24hr virus or a bad oyster... yes, hate to admit, an oyster could have taken me down."
"I acknowledge and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused fans who had travelled near and far for the show. I had done everything possible to make it, and was at the point of falling if I stood up."
"On a lighter note since my illness, the support band 'Swedish Oyster Cult' will be thrown off the tour. More Cowbell?...More barf bagz!!"
"Thanx for your understanding and support. It's not without notice from the whole 'Tallica Touring Family."
Another earlier message posted on the site says Metallica will reschedule the show "somethime this spring."
