A futur not so far

Post by lake on Sat May 30, 2009 9:59 pm

I red a news (in french) about this new 3D technology.

http://www.jeuxvideo.com/articles/0001/00010854_dossier.htm

"Created" by Nvidia, its the real beginning of a major switch to our games.

And guess what ?

The games that will be probably the more impressive will be .....racing games Wink and FPS.

Here is the link of Nividia :

Saw something on tv not long ago about Microsoft introducing a system like the Wiiii has, but without controller.
So it follows your movements entirely through scanners around you. No need to buy a wheel, you just sit straight and do the movements. It was shown for a fighting game, but also an (arcade) racing game. Looked quiet fun to race like that.

Either way... gaming like we are used to will in some years be totally "passé".
My kids will be gaming differently than I do now for sure. Star Trek holograms anyone ?

I think my gf would get me committed to institutional care if I were driving around FE rallycross with LX6 and spinning the invisible steering wheel like a fricking maniac Laughing
