Ok Mr Lake

Post by atomant on Fri May 09, 2014 7:37 pm

We could use your talent to get everyone on a AC server, now might be the time to start a SCCC server and write a report for joining. The Dead men racing crew has a TS server (you can find the pass by typing Dead Men Racing).

DMR is the AC server name they established. If we need funds to get this going contact Mauni, cause all he ever does now is work, so he must be rich Smile

Contact me through PM or at my email.

Thanks Lakey

Ok i will remember it.
The thing is actually, AC really need TS appointment to be able to race with people you wanted too.

But there is some tricks to join an already started session when some admins servers put your steam ID in their database.

I didnt tried already but it seems to work.

Im also involved in AC french forum but there is also another french/ and english forum were they have 2 public servers and around 7 private.

I give you the link in case off, there is a lot of nice guys.

Weee, I got A/C for 19.99 CND, so Mr Lake, if you look on the DEAD MEN RACING forum, you can see where we all race on Monday evenings, there is also a link there for the Donington Track.

If you PM Seany with your GUID number he can list you on the server as pre booked.

To find the DEAD MEN RACING server on A/C just type dmr, there are 2 servers, one always shows 12 guys but that's just the pre booked members.

Hope to see you there.

Ant

p.s. what a fantastic sim just wish they could turn down the contrast brightness.

PM me (or post here) your GUID number Lake so I can book you onto the server. On Monday the password will be on and it's very hard to get players on the server if they arnt prebooked.

You can get your Steam GUID from here : My Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\race.ini . In this file look for the following section : [REMOTE], you will see your GUID=#### a few lines down.

Being on TS can help too (even if your only listening) as the game is so limited with the ways you can communicate at the moment. I'd imagine it would be frustrating for some who doesn't know what is going on (restarts, voting, etc).

Thanks!

I've send you my GUID number by PM Wink
And yes it looks like you have a password on your server now.

The passwords are at the Dead Men Racing Forum, the team speak details are also there, let me give you a link.

http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?37587-Server-and-Teamspeak-passwords&s=20a47d280f3da2e159841e54d4de2687

You need to be a registered member to see them. Hope this helps.

I tried to register on you forum but i have a problem when they ask :
"Type the last three letters of the fifth word: "prove you are a real human" in spell verification.

Is it "ers" that i have to type ?

Because its not working...

Hmm, not sure mate. Do they mean "eal" maybe, from the "real" in the second sentence?
