OLFSL 2013

Not for nothing, but OLFSL will be running it's 10th year this year (late April or early May).

I for one will be proud as heck to run the Cabbie skin and name in such a fine league.

Mauni and I have shared some good racing of late...keeping them on their toes.

Dead Men Racing and Dominate Monkeys have had hands full with Cabbies.

We are Hoping Dee, Jamin, Seany and the boys from DMR join the OLFSL this season, as well as the return of Cabbies who have been away to long , for some great racing and friendly chat.

We now have a team speak channel, so look for it in private posting as well as the server info. (late April)

For quite awhile, I on behalf of SCCC had always ran a practice race the Saturday before the OLFS league event, received nothing but positive feedback from the staff and drivers, they all say it's a good test for the nerves and helps them prepare better for their OLFSL Race.

I intend to keep doing this on an SCCC server to give us some exposure.

I looked and cannot find a Team that is older..Mercury racing folded...Triple 7 Racing still has Three Jump running (raced him last week) but they formed in 2004. My old team (NASSA) still has an active member running the badge (KenCan) and that was formed in Nov 2003.

Regardless..Cabbies have a default Skin in LFS.....last season there was a UF1 practice race and everyone drove the Cabbie Skin, was a hoot and a compliment.

A.Corrsa and other sims are looking great and may be Cabbies new direction, as Wakey said...there has never been so many choices, no reason divisions of each game can't be occupied by the SCCC Badge. Dead Men Walking, does it over 15 to 20 games..all with the DM badge (they have a wicked FSP presence over there)

I was and still am shocked that anyone would think SCCC is going to roll over after all this time.

We may need to dust Mr Colt off and get some new badges for 10 years (he'll hate doing that until he realizes how much fun he had in the past)

No definite start date yet Bob, so that's kind of hard to answer. A typical Sunday has 4 pools starting around 16:00 UTC and running till 20:00 UTC, depending on which pool you got in would determine your race time.

Dee has expressed an interest in this next season and we may just be able to convice Jamin and Seany Boy to join us. I think the Monkeys are going to enter a team as well, I joked with Blindfury that you guys should combine and run one team under the name "Dead Monkeys"

LFS needs something fresh soon or it's going to keep going downhill from here.
I honestly haven't played it for many months ... not much to look forward to in playing it.

Maybe Santa has a surprise for us?
