I heard about that new sim.
Colt told me that he tried it.

I took some informations about.

This game is made by ancient devs from Papyrus (Indycar racing, Nascar, GP Legends, etc.)
That looks good but.....

You must pay every month around 20 dollars or 156 dollars a year....
I think by default, you have 2 cars.
If you want more cars you must pay for it.

If you want to put more tracks....you must pay and apparently its around 25 dollars for a track...

Im sure devs wanted to make a sim for purist but thats a bit too expensive.

Maybe this will change one day.

Here is a test (french) :

Yes iracing is simply brilliant , very good force feedback , cars and tracks very well modelled , there are races every hour at least and more and more people are subscribing .
Of course it is expensive but you don't have to subscribe for the whole year and in my opinion it is worth every $ .
Come and join me and fuck the crisis Very Happy

Oh that's where you've been hiding...
I've heard mainly good things about iRacing, but atm I don't have enough time to play to pay monthly subscription fees... Have fun on the other side of the fence Colt rabbit

LFS doesnt look real than some other sims, but community and good spirit is still there.
Even i find there is some less activity.
Remember all the good times we had Very Happy
I had the same feeling some months ago, but now i ve found pleaure back.

PS : i think there is maybe some good other online racing games to check.

iRacing is a mature version of LFS but more demanding. All is in one place. No nicknames, no wrecking like in LFS. Same friendly community. You can buy cars and tracks as extra, but you don't have to. As the original game is developed in the US, a lot of grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ovals.
Physics like LFS but much better, bit like rFactor but with less wheelforce side effects. GTR2 and Race07 has alot of unnecesary wheel effects, but feel sensational therefore. The interface, setup of hard and software in a breeze in iRacing, very easy and simple. I certainly put my money on iRacing if I had mor time for games. Compared to LFS, iRacing is the future game and LFS missed the boat. iRacing is what we expected from LFS S2 and rFactor.

Good joke Houba , IMO you dont have to buy every track and car , not the oval part for exemple (except if you like that Sleep ) , then with the 12 weeks seasons you can concentrate on one car only and the 2 or 3 tracks necessary for this season .

Yes and hi Colt, I agree on that. The advantage of the iRacing is misunderstood. Its a total new concept and for good reasons you have to donate a little amount. Its less expensive as renting a LFSserver for far more value and carefree racing.

There is no demo of this game , maybe the one month free trial is still valid otherwise there is an old pirate Embarassed version to test it offline .
